LinkedIn ads are fantastic for business to business (B2B) businesses. Where your end consumer is another business as opposed to a consumer, a member of the public or an individual.
The great thing about LinkedIn, like Facebook is that CPCs are still relatively low compared to Pay per Click due to untapped opportunities and less competition…yet. This coupled with the effectiveness of being able to target your target market by: location, company, job title, skills, LinkedIn groups, gender and age top level categories, some of these categories can be drilled down further.
In my experience LinkedIn has always delivered targeted leads as long as the campaign structure is efficiently set-up and campaigns are monitored and optimised with ROI in mind, much like Pay per Click and Google Adwords.
